Day 2 – Tuesday, May 3

Arrive in Israel | Drive to your hotel on the Mediterranean Sea

You will be met by a representative to assist the group through customs and provide transfer to your hotel. You will check in, have a lovely dinner overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and then get a good night’s rest.
Day 3 – Wednesday, May 4

Caesarea Maritime | Mt. Carmel | Valley of Armageddon | Megiddo | Nazareth | Arrive on the Sea of Galilee

The day begins with a drive up the coast to the ancient port city of Caesarea Maritime where the ancient harbor, hippodrome and great theatre stand. The events of Acts 12 took place there. Close by you will see the aqueducts built by Herod the Great and then view the Valley of Armageddon from the heights of Mt. Carmel where Elijah slew the prophets of Baal. Descending from there you will visit Megiddo, Solomon’s Ancient chariot city, view Ahab’s water tunnel, cross the entire Jezreel Valley and begin the climb through the lower Galilean Mountains to Nazareth, the childhood home of Jesus. You then go to your wonderful resort on the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Thursday, May 5

Sea of Galilee | Jesus Boat | Mount of Beatitudes | Tabgha | Capernaum | Lunch by the Sea | Baptism in the Jordan

When you awake you can walk the shoreline of the Sea of Galilee and watch the sunrise before breakfast. You will enjoy a boat ride and time of worship on the Sea and sail to Nof Ginnosar to view an ancient boat. You will follow the footsteps of Christ as you visit the Mt. of Beatitudes, ancient Capernaum, Tabgha, and then have the opportunity to eat St. Peter’s fish at a nearby restaurant. After lunch if you desire, you may be baptized in the Jordan River. Returning to your resort you can rest, have dinner, walk the shoreline and enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Day 5 – Friday, May 6

Chorazin | Tel Dan | Bental | Dan Nature Reserve | Caesarea Philippi | Northern Golan Heights

Today you visit the beautiful northern mountains of Israel. As you leave the area around the lake, you will stop at Chorazin for a view of the fantastic ruins there, including the “Moses seat”. A city gate from the time of Abraham is at Tel Dan along with an altar from the days of the divided kingdom. Walking through the incredible nature reserve at Dan you will see waterfalls, lush greenery, and beautiful clear rushing water and the beginnings of the Dan River, which joins other sources to form the Jordan. You will climb to the site of Peter’s confession of Christ at Caesarea Philippi and hear about “the Gates of Hell.” Traversing the Golan Heights you can stand at an ancient volcano, and hike to the top of Bental with a view of Damascus. Today you will become familiar with the strategic importance of the region in ancient times and today. You will retire to your resort on the Sea of Galilee for a final evening, have dinner, walk the shore, and overnight.
Day 6 – Saturday, May 7

Bet Shan | Wadi Qelt | Mount of Olives overlook of Jerusalem

Awake for your last view of the Sea of Galilee before beginning the drive to Jerusalem. Traveling alongside the Gilboa Mountain Range you will pass by Harrod’s Springs where Gideon tested his men. Before going down the Jordan Valley you will visit Bet Shan. Though not mentioned in the New Testament, it is the best preserved Roman City of that time. After a lunch break you will enjoy the route the pilgrim’s would have taken as they made their way to the great feasts of Israel. Passing by ancient Jericho, time permitting, you will stop at Wadi Qelt, the “Valley of Shadow of Death” before you begin the climb to the breathtaking city of Jerusalem where you will stand on the Mount of Olives overlook to view the city. It is the place that God loved like no other; where he put His Name, where Jesus walked, taught, died, and rose again… Jerusalem. You will check into your hotel, have dinner, and enjoy your first night in the beautiful city of Jerusalem. These final days are spent in and around Jerusalem, the ancient capital. Once you arrive, before disembarking each afternoon, you will hear the next day’s itinerary. Listed below are just some of the sights you will experience together.
Shepherd's Fields Gordon’s Calvary Robinson’s Arch Street Market Jaffa Gate
Garden of Gethsemane Damascus Gate St. Stephen's Gate Arab Quarter Mt. Scopus
Rabbinical Tunnel Tomb of Absalom Dome of the Rock Garden Tomb Knesset
Place of the Pavement Tomb of Zechariah Southern Steps Mt. Zion Kidron Valley
Holocaust Museum House of Caiaphas Western Wall Temple Mount Roman Cardo
Valley of Gehenna Palm Sunday Road Israel Museum Jewish Quarter Zion's Gate
Pools of Bethesda Mt. of Olives Shiloh City of David and Much, Much MORE!

On the last day you will check out of your lovely hotel and set out for the last full day of touring. You will end that incredible day at Calvary and the Garden Tomb. You will experience a sumptious farewell dinner before departing for Tel Aviv for a late night flight to the US.
Day 7 – Sunday, May 8

Qumran | Masada | Ein Gedi | Dead Sea

You will spend an exciting morning descending to the Plains of Jericho, then on to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth. You will visit Qumran, the center of the Essenes, where some of the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, continuing south, you will see where the ibex roam at Ein Gedi, David’s hideout from Saul. A short drive away you will be at Masada, the mountain-top fortress where the last zealots against Rome defended their freedom, and at the end, took their own lives rather than be taken as slaves. It is a heroic story many do not know. Before returning to Jerusalem, there will be a stop at the Dead Sea where you may float in the waters if you like, then you will once again follow that ancient pilgrim’s path to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Monday, May 9 / Jerusalem

Early wake-up call | Temple Mount | Pools of Bethesda | St. Anne's Church | Western Wall | Davidson Center | Southern Steps | City of David

This morning you rise early to visit the most sacred place on earth, Mt. Moriah. You will visit the Temple Mount and the centuries-old “Dome of the Rock” built 688 – 691 A.D. You will visit the Western Wall then visit the Davidson Center, and see the ancient Roman Cardo, Robinson’s Arch and the ancient Southern Steps. You visit the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed an invalid man and visit St. Anne’s Church nearby. The afternoon will be spent visiting the excavations of ancient City of David, before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Days 9 - Tuesday, May 10 / Jerusalem

Early wake-up call | Ancient Shiloh | Place of the Pavement | Via Dolorosa | Garden Tomb | Gordon's Calvary

Check out. Travel to Ancient Shiloh, the site of the Capital of Israel and central place of worship where the Tabernacle was for 369 years; the home of the prophet Samuel. Upon returning to Jerusalem, you go to the Sisters of Zion (Ecce Homo) to the Place of the Pavement at the Fortress of Antonia, the sea of the Romac Procurator where the public trial of Christ, his condemnation and scourging would have taken place.

You will then make your way along the Via Doloros and Calvary to the nearby Garden Tomb, where you will end this final day of touring. The group will experience a sumptious farewell dinner before departing for Tel Aviv for a late night flight to the US.

Day 10 – Wednesday, May 11
